airbox intake mod

So I’ve just done a 3 hour ride on my 851 with the little modification on the way the air comes into my airbox at the front of the tank and kept the old air tubes at the back. I’ve noticed a big improvement in speed and acceleration especially from 6,000 to the red line of 10,000 rpm.
It breaths a lot better but I’m now going to se CJS to get chris work the ECU to get more fuel in the system.

When I was still running a standard air box with the lid removed and a ITG filter fitted to a frame, I run the pipes the same as the blue pipes in the pic's.
I can't see where the other pipes are running from?

I think that you might as well throw the black ones in the bin, I seriously doubt that they're doing anything for your performance.
