    OK,

that other ebay bike is horrible, how anybody could think that is a nice paint job is beyond me!

I mailed the guy with some questions as I can potentially paint it cheaper than most people so I thought it maybe worth a punt, below I have pasted my reply...........

1st owner, but not from new as this bike has been pass around
the shops. But do have a letter from Ducati uk saying it has
never been registered in the uk or else where. The belts have
been done two years ago by W M SNELLS in Alton, Hants. I do
the small servicing as I have a Ducati Factory Manual. And It is
ridable MOT/TAX, and have original exhusts as stated in the E
bay write up.Engine is showing white varnish, as in its age. Not
what you would call flakey, as for the painted covers the same.
Hope this have answered you questions jimmy, if any more
please do ask and I will reply as soon as pos. Thank you for
    looking.

    Jimmy,

It just needs painted. Those wheels are worth a fair bit and it comes with the standard exhausts as well as the Termignionis, ask for a better photo of the exhaust collector, there is a strange spaghetti like bump in it! So there is a lot of extra value there. If I was in the UK I would be after it myself .

That is because it those are not Termignoni can's/collector, but akrapovic!

Hi Jimmy and welcome to the forum.

Go on buy it, you know that you want one and I'm sure you can sweet talk Naomi round.
But always remember that Johnny G will constantly be telling you how much better his 926cc 888SP(4)S is.
It's hard to see the difference between standard 3 spoke Brembo's and Magnesium Marvic's in pictures of that size, you'd also pay over a grand for any 2nd hand Spaghetti system and Johnny G hasn't got one of those!
He coveted mine the other day.
If it really is an Acrapovic system it will be very good, as long as it hasn't got those awful oval cans that Spike pretends he actually likes.

    Steve R

P.S. Swampy and Johnny are out to see some band tomorrow night, with a singer who's more Rodney than Robbie williams, any idea who that could be chap???
